The students of Gaziantep College Foundation Cemil Alevli IBDP High School’s C9A class carried out a meaningful CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) project in celebration of the 102nd anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye. With the aim of commemorating Republic Day and instilling the values of the Republic in younger generations, the students visited Olcay Külah Kindergarten and spent a joyful, activity-filled day with the children.

As part of the visit, the students organized Republic-themed coloring activities, games, and dances; and brightened the day with songs they sang together. The combination of the children’s enthusiasm and the students’ energy created both an entertaining and educational atmosphere. The students’ patient, sincere, and caring attitude towards the kindergarten children played an important role in the success of the event.

This meaningful project was carried out by C9A students Nazenin Rengin Yoldaş, Hasan Rüzgar Özseven, Berra Uygun, Egehan Uyan, Nas Benlier, Elif Eraslan, İbrahim Tlasfarzat, Defne Erkan, Semih Şaşmaz, and Ömer Kethüda. The project was organized by Nazenin Rengin Yoldaş and Hasan Rüzgar Özseven, with coordination support from Bülent Yoldaş, Principal of Olcay Külah Kindergarten.

Through this project, the students expressed that they not only experienced the value of serving their community but also felt the joy of sharing the meaning of the Republic with young hearts. The event created unforgettable memories for both the high school and kindergarten students. By sharing the spirit of the Republic together, the participants strengthened their sense of empathy, responsibility, and solidarity.
