Organized by EYP (European Youth Parliament) Turkey, the 25th National Election Conference was held digitally between 1-5 February. High school students from all over Turkey attended the conference where the academic language was English and the students were evaluated by 8 official EYP juries and 12 committee chairs. Our Students; Environment, Public Health; They discussed the actions taken by the European Union member countries from the past to the present by discussing in the Foreign Affairs, Artificial Intelligence, Budget, Civil Liberties, Justice and Internal Affairs committees for 5 days. In the general assembly held on the 4th and 5th days of the conference, each committee put their solution proposals to the vote using their persuasion skills and creative questioning skills.
EYP offers young people an environment where they can express themselves comfortably; It is a one-on-one education program organized by young people for young people, which enables them to become open-minded, tolerant active citizens. Being a member of the EYP provides opportunities for members to take an active role in the organization of these conferences, access a variety of specialized training and take part in a wider range of intercultural roles.
After the conference, our students Başak Öngen, Nehir Sönmez, Esma Ayça Tabur and Murathan Kurtaran, who participated in the election of EYP members, will attend the conferences to be organized by other European countries after their academic, social and general success; They were selected by the jury to represent EYP Turkey, and they had the right to become EYP members. Our students, who were selected as EYP members, completed their new member training and learned about the advantages and vision of being a member of the EYP.

GKV ÖZEL CEMİL ALEVLİ KOLEJİ (IB) 10. VE 11. SINIF ÖĞRENCİLERİ EYP TÜRKİYE KAPSAMINDA GERÇEKLEŞEN ULUSAL SEÇİM KONFERANSINA KATILDI
EYP (Avrupa Gençlik Parlamentosu) Türkiye’nin organize ettiği 25. Ulusal Seçim Konferansı dijital olarak 1-5 Şubat tarihleri arasında düzenlendi. Akademik dilin İngilizce olduğu, 8 resmî EYP jürisi ve 12 komite başkanı tarafından öğrencilerin değerlendirildiği konferansa Türkiye’nin dört bir yanından lise öğrencileri katıldılar. Öğrencilerimiz Çevre, Halk Sağlığı; Dışişleri, Yapay Zeka, Bütçe, Sivil Özgürlükler, Adalet ve İçişleri komitelerinde 5 gün boyunca tartışıp Avrupa Birliği üyesi ülkelerin geçmişten bugüne aldıkları aksiyonları değerlendirdiler. Konferansın 4. ve 5. gününde yapılan genel kurulda her komite kendi çözüm önerilerini ikna becerileri ve yaratıcı soru sorma yeteneklerini kullanarak oylamaya sundular.
EYP, gençlere kendilerini rahatça ifade edebilecekleri bir ortam sunan; açık fikirli, hoşgörülü birer aktif vatandaş olmalarını sağlayan, gençler tarafından gençler için düzenlenen bire bir bir eğitim programıdır. EYP üyesi olmak, üyelere bu konferansların düzenlenme aşamasında aktif rol almak, çeşitli özel eğitimlere erişmek ve daha geniş bir kültürlerarası yelpazede farklı rollerde yer almak gibi olanaklar sağlar.
Konferans sonrasında EYP üye seçimlerine katılan öğrencilerimizden Başak Öngen, Nehir Sönmez, Esma Ayça Tabur ve Murathan Kurtaran gösterdikleri akademik, sosyal ve genel başarı sonrasında diğer Avrupa ülkeleri tarafından düzenlenecek olan konferanslarda; EYP Türkiye’yi temsil etmek üzere, jüri tarafından seçilerek EYP üyesi olma hakkına sahip oldular. EYP üyesi seçilen öğrencilerimiz sonrasında yeni üye eğitimlerini tamamlayarak EYP üyesi olmanın avantajları ve vizyonu hakkında bilgi sahibi oldular.
