11th grade IBDP students from GKV Private Cemil Alevli High School, Derin Özönel, Nilüfer Yayla, and Naz Küçükkınacı were selected to participate in the Young European Security Conference 2026 held in Berlin.

Bringing together around 200 selected young participants from across Europe, the conference focused on key security policy issues such as climate change, economic competition, and global power dynamics.

Naz Küçükkınacı and Nilüfer Yayla explored the relationship between climate change and security, while Derin Özönel examined how trade wars shape international stability.
