The PenPal Project, initiated by our 5th-grade students at Gaziantep College Foundation Private Secondary School in collaboration with students from Scuola Media Olivi in Italy, is continuing with great enthusiasm and momentum. Through this meaningful international partnership, our students are cultivating essential skills such as intercultural awareness, empathy, respectful communication, and open-mindedness. At the same time, they are significantly enhancing their written expression and English language proficiency.

Having thoughtfully responded to the letters they received from Italy, our students have now sent their replies and are eagerly anticipating the next exchange. They are currently experiencing the excitement and joy of receiving new letters from their Italian peers.

Throughout the 2025–2026 academic year, students will continue their correspondence, deepening their understanding of one another’s cultures and traditions. This project beautifully demonstrates that meaningful communication and the cherished tradition of letter writing truly never fade.

Gaziantep Kolej Vakfı Özel Ortaokulu 5. sınıf öğrencilerimiz ile İtalya’daki Scuola Media Olivi Okulu öğrencileri arasında başlatılan PenPal Projesi heyecanla devam etmektedir. Proje sayesinde öğrencilerimiz kültürlerarası farkındalık, empati ve saygılı iletişim becerilerini geliştirirken yazılı anlatım ve İngilizce iletişim alanında da ilerleme kaydetmektedir.

İtalya’dan gelen mektuplara yanıtlarını gönderen öğrencilerimiz, yeni mektupları büyük bir heyecanla beklemektedir. 2025–2026 eğitim öğretim yılı boyunca sürecek bu yazışmalar, mektup yazma geleneğinin asla kaybolmadığını göstermektedir.
