GKV Cemil Alevli College European Youth Parliament (EYP) Club has attended the "KOÇ EYP 20" held at Koç High School between 13-16 February 2020 with 6 students from IB Prep and 10IB class and IB Guidance Teachers. The purpose of the education forum is to discuss and amplify the political, economical and technological developments in the world with fellow students, to establish cause-effect relationships and to convey the results of the committees with a common mind to large masses.They sought solutions to several problems such as: “ Fallbehind of Europe from America and China in terms of using AI ( artificial intelligent), cyber attack and cyber security, minimizing the safety standards of nuclear energy,the trade war between America and China and the customs duties they impose on each other at once, the position of the European Union in this war and how it can support China, Women's harassment and slander which are unreported, helping Africa.” The 4-day forum, in which 12 committees took place and the academic language was English, consisted of approximately 140 delegates, while our students drew great attention with their approaches and questions to the topics, they held multi-faceted academic discussions in the committee studies.
GKV CEMİL ALEVLİ KOLEJİ KOÇ LİSESİ – KOÇ EYP’20’YE KATILDI
GKV Cemil Alevli Koleji Avrupa Gençlik Parlamentosu (EYP) Kulübü 13-16 Şubat 2020 tarihleri arasında Koç Lisesinde gerçekleştirilen “KOÇ EYP”20’ye IB Hazırlık ve 10IB sınıfından 6 öğrenci ve IB Rehberlik Öğretmeni ile katılmıştır. Eğitim forumunun amacı dünyadaki politik, ekonomik ve teknolojik gelişmeleri öğrenciler ile tartışmak, irdelemek, sebep sonuç ilişkilerini kurmak, ilgili konularda komitelerin ortak akıl ile buldukları sonuçları geniş kitlelere ulaştırmaktır. Öğrenciler bu yıl farklı komitelerde “Avrupa’nın yapay zekâ konusunda Çin ve Amerika’dan geri kalması, siber saldırı ve siber güvenlik, nükleer enerjinin güvenlik standartlarının en aza indirgenmesi, Amerika ve Çin’in ticaret savaşı ve birbirlerine bir anda uyguladıkları gümrük vergileri Avrupa Birliği’nin bu savaşta konumu ve Çin’e nasıl destek olabileceği? Kadınların taciz ve hırpalanmalarını rapor etmemeleri, şikâyetçi olmamaları, Afrika’ya yardım” gibi çeşitli konulardaki sorunlara çözümler aradılar. 12 Komitenin yer aldığı ve akademik dilin İngilizce olduğu 4 günlük forum yaklaşık 140 delegeden oluşan, komite çalışmalarında öğrencilerimiz konuya olan yaklaşımları ve soruları ile büyük dikkat çekerken komite çalışmalarında çok yönlü akademik tartışmalar gerçekleştirdiler.
